EUDIMA at SEA Naval Roundtable & Reception

Brussels, Belgium – November 18, 2025 – EUDIMA participated in the SEA Naval Roundtable & Reception, organized by SEA Naval in partnership with the European Policy Centre. The event brought together European naval industry leaders, EU policymakers, and defence stakeholders for strategic discussions on Europe’s naval capabilities.

The event featured a naval roundtable session moderated by Mihai Chihaia, Policy Analyst at the European Policy Center, with participation from key figures including Davide Cucino (SEA Naval Chairman and Senior Vice President for EU & NATO Affairs at Fincantieri), Niclas Herbst (MEP and Chair of CONT Committee), Hans Huygens (Capt (N), EUMS, EEAS), Nathalie Guichard (RTI Director, European Defence Agency), Richard Keulen (Director Strategy and Innovation, Damen Naval), and Chris Kremidas-Courtney (Senior Visiting Fellow, European Policy Center).

The evening reception included a keynote speech by Diego de Ojeda Garcia-Pardo, Head of Unit Defence and Preparedness at the European Commission’s Secretariat General.
